2024 Elementary and MS Redistricting
-
In the Fall of 2024, the Dublin City School District completed a redistricting study to prepare for the opening of Bishop Elementary in the fall of 2025. Key objectives included:
To allocate an attendance zone for Bishop Elementary School scheduled to open in the Fall of 2025.
To balance utilization/relieve overcrowding among the elementary schools within the study area.
To make best efforts to ensure that Fall 2025 boundary changes align with long-term facilities and Elementary to Middle School feeder pattern.

Prior to the proposed map being introduced, residents were given the opportunity to submit feedback.

As part of the Elementary and Middle School redistricting in the fall of 2024, Cropper requested Community Feedback prior to the proposed maps being released on October 21, 2024. After maps were presented to the public, Cropper asked for residents to complete a survey on their opinion of the proposed maps.
The survey questions were duplicated for Elementary and Middle:
1. What is your opinion of the Middle School Draft Option?
2. What do you think is the strongest part of the Middle School Draft Option?
Utilization. Are enrollments equitable in size and percentage of the school being used?
Neighborhood Continuity. Does the option keep neighborhood/subdivisions intact?
Transportation Efficiency. Are most students assigned to schools closest to their home?
Feeder Pattern Efficiency. Are splits balanced from elementary to middle school?
3. What do you think is the weakest part of the Middle School Draft Option?
