Internal Planning Team

An Internal Planning team (IPT) was created to help with the High School redistricting process. This team was made up of Central Office Administrators and four building administrators. The IPT had a diminished role and did not help in creating or selecting the 3 draft maps.

August 25, 2025 was the first meeting of IPT where team met with Cropper GIS and reviewed the slides being shown at the August 26 webinar to community members.

September 8, 2025 was the second meeting of the IPT. The team reviewed four draft maps; draft 1,6,7,& 8 with a verbal roundtable discussion on how each of the four drafts met the eight redistricting criteria. This is the first time the IPT were shown any maps and team members requested to see modifications to draft map 7.

September 22, 2025 was the third meeting of the IPT. Members reviewed three additional draft maps; draft 9,10,& 11 which were alternate versions of map 7. They again had verbal roundtable discussion on how each of the alternate drafts met the eight redistricting criteria.

September 26, 2025 was the fourth meeting of the IPT. Members were shown the 3 Maps that would be provided to the public the following week. Again, just a verbal roundtable discussion was had on how the 3 drafts met the eight redistricting criteria.

Internal Planning Team members were never shown all 11 draft maps until they were posted to the Cropper redistricting page on September 29th. Draft maps 2,3,4, & 5, were never show to the IPT and were the only maps to pull students from north of Brand Rd. to Scioto High School. After feedback from the community, the IPT was tasked with assigning a score to each map based on each members interpretation of the 8 redistricting criteria.
